Were hiring aFire Electrical Technician for our Wagga Wagga NSW teamto inspect test maintain and repair fire detection and electrical fire protection systems across commercial healthcare and government sites.

The work is structured the schedule is planned and the compliance trail is clean. Youll be trusted to run your own day supported by a team that knows AS 1851 fire detection systems and compliance requirements.

Inspect test and maintain fire detection and electrical fire protection systems to AS 1851

Service and maintain fire indicator panels detection systems EWIS and associated equipment

Diagnose electrical and system faults and complete repairs replacements and minor upgrades

Test and maintain associated fire protection equipment and interfaces

Complete compliant baseline data and condition reports for client portfolios

Complete service reports photos and asset data through our mobile platform

Provide accurate verbal handovers and recommendations to site contacts

Respond to breakdowns faults and after-hours callouts when required

Certificate II or Certificate III in Fire Protection and Testing or relevant fire electrical qualifications

Electrical trade qualification/licence or relevant fire systems electrical experience

PAS accreditation (or eligibility) for routine servicing of fire protection systems

Sound working knowledge of AS 1851

Experience with fire indicator panels and fire detection systems

Current drivers licence

Right to work in Australia

Experience with Notifier Vigilant Simplex or similar FIP systems

Dry fire endorsements Confined space working at heights and EWP tickets

Experience with EWIS emergency lighting or associated fire electrical systems

Additional electrical or fire industry qualifications

Fully maintained company vehicle fuel card smartphone and laptop

Penalty rates weekend loadings and overtime paid in full no rolled-up rates

Site allowances travel allowances and tool allowances on top of base
