About the Role
Ebert Investment Group is growing and the finance function needs its person. As Finance Manager you will have full ownership of financial reporting statutory compliance and governance across a diversified multi-entity investment portfolio working in direct partnership with the CEO to deliver commercial insight and drive sound financial decision-making across the group.
This is a hands-on senior role with no direct reports. What there is is genuine scope to build improve and shape a finance function that scales with a business that is moving fast and thinking long term.

Key Duties
Own end-to-end financial reporting across all EIG entities monthly quarterly and annual
Prepare consolidated management accounts analysis and commentary for the CEO
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations intercompany accounting and consolidated reporting
Ensure all statutory obligations are met tax ASIC audit and regulatory
Maintain and enhance accounting policies internal controls and governance frameworks
Manage external auditors tax advisors and regulatory stakeholders
Own cash flow reporting forecasting budgeting and variance analysis
Partner with operational managers to deliver commercially focused financial insights
Drive improvements in accounting systems automation and reporting processes
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CA qualified essential
Proven experience in a senior corporate or group accounting role
Strong knowledge of IFRS statutory reporting and governance frameworks
Exposure to investment fund management or asset-based businesses highly regarded
Comfortable operating independently in a lean high-trust environment
Strong communication skills able to translate complex financial data into clear commercial insight
Proactive and solutions-focused with a genuine passion for continuous improvement
