About the Opportunity
Our client is a national leader in secure destruction and recycling solutions. Operating out of a facility in Wingfield they are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Factory Sorter to join their close-knit production team.
This is an ASAP start for the right candidate offering stable day-shift hours and a great team environment.
Monday Tuesday Wednesday & Friday: 7:00am 3:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Working on the production floor your daily routine will include:
Monitoring the paper conveyor belt to efficiently sort and remove non-paper contaminants (plastics metals etc.).
Emptying archived storage boxes off pallets and feeding them into industrial crushing/shredding machinery.
Keeping your work area clean tidy and safe in line with OHS standards.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role you will need:
This is a highly active role that involves repetitive lifting standing for long periods and manual handling.
Ability to quickly spot and filter out non-paper materials on a fast-moving belt.
You must hold or be able to successfully pass a Full National Police Clearance due to the secure nature of the site.
Highly regarded/a bonus though not essential.
