About The Opportunity

Programmeds Facility Management team is seeking an experienced Facilities & Asset Manager (FAM) to join our MSA - Department of Education contract.

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity to step into a well-established portfolio supporting a network of schools across the northern suburbs. As the FAM youll play a key role in ensuring facilities are safe functional and well-maintained while building strong relationships with stakeholders across schools the Department and service providers.

Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment youll coordinate a range of maintenance and asset management activities overseeing works from planning through to delivery. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about facilities management and thrives in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and delivering high-quality outcomes across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop facilities management strategies and asset management plans to deliver work order response and maintenance schedules
  • Conducting regular surveys of assets and prepare risk ranked program of corrective and preventative maintenance works
  • Monitor analyse and report facility management service performance and recommend effective improvement strategies
  • Preparation and updating maintenance plans
  • Ensuring that effective planning and scheduling of corrective and preventative maintenance work is carried out within budget and on time
  • Ensuring OH&S requirements are met for the contract
  • Liaise with site management teams to determine their requirements
  • Provide accurate and timely reports for the contract manager and senior management
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management infrastructure projects or the building and construction industry.
  • Proficiency in MAS Microsoft Excel Outlook and other relevant systems and software.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a high-demand environment.
