Job Summary
Grano is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals and contributing to a busy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cook and present meals in line with the Granos menu and quality standards.
- Ensure food is prepared fresh safely and consistently for customers.
- Assist with menu planning specials and seasonal food offerings.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation portion control and kitchen hygiene.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure all food safety health and hygiene regulations are followed.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Train and support junior kitchen staff where required.
- Maintain a clean organised and efficient workstation.
- Assist with managing food costs wastage and kitchen productivity.
