Yarrawonga Casual 2 Shifts per Week Sleepovers
PALS is opening a new Supported Independent Living (SIL)home in Yarrawonga and is seeking experienced Disability / SIL SupportWorkers to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a new service fromthe beginning with ongoing growth expected. We are looking for reliable staffwho can commit to regular ongoing shifts (minimum 2 per week includingsleepover shifts).
Experience supporting participants with complex needsis highly regarded and additional training will be provided for the rightcandidates.
About the role
You will support participants living in a SIL environment tobuild independence and quality of life through:
- Personal care and daily living support
- Meal preparation and household tasks
- Medication support and health monitoring
- Behavioural and complex support needs
- Community access and transport support
- Following individual care plans and documentation
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in disability support SIL/high-needs preferred
- Certificate III in Individual Support / Disability (minimum)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR (current)
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
- Availability for 2 shifts per week including sleepovers
- Willingness to commit to ongoing rostered shifts as the service grows
