NADO Disability & Aged Care is a not for profit community-based charity that is committed to providing services and supports that respond to the needs and personal goals of people with disability the frail and aged their families and carers within the context of their home work and community life across the Nepean Blue Mountain region.

About the Position

The primary purpose of the Disability Support Worker (DSW) role will be to provide support that enables participants to meet their daily needs and goals including social recreational and skill development programs. DSW will work either within a team context or 1:1 support to provide consistent high-quality services that meet identified needs and goals.

About You

Were looking for applicants who are available to work flexible hours across any day of the week Monday through Sunday.

You must have a caring personality passion for helping others and have a positive attitude. We provide on the job training to equip you with the skills needed to succeed in this rewarding role. The following documents are also a requirement:

  • Current NDIS Worker Check
  • Current Drivers License
  • Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Current paid Working With Children Check (only if required to work with children)
  • Epilepsy Essentials & Medication Assist Training
  • Hold rights to work in Australia

Previous experience as a DSW would be desirable however we welcome applicants with no prior experience to apply
