About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker youll make a meaningful difference by supporting participants to engage with their local community and achieve their NDIS goals.

Your duties may include:
  • Supporting participants to attend appointments.
  • Accompanying participants to cafés shopping centres parks libraries and community events.
  • Assisting with grocery shopping and everyday errands.
  • Supporting recreational activities hobbies and social outings.
  • Encouraging confidence independence and social participation.
  • Providing companionship and meaningful community engagement.
  • Assisting participants to achieve their individual NDIS goals through person-centred support.
Every participant is unique making each day rewarding and different.

What Youll Need:
  • An active ABN (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Australian working rights.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety and You.
  • A current drivers licence and a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle as community access support involves transporting participants to appointments and activities.
