We have a Permanent Part-time opportunity for a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team at our Thornbury Centre. This role is for 17.5 hours per fortnight working Tuesdays from 7:45am to 5:00pm and commences at the start of term 3 (13 July 2026).

As a Diploma Qualified Educator you will be an active team member of a team that provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes:

• Developing strong relationships with children at the service.
• Assist with the implementation of a play-based learning environment responsive to childrens interest strengths and abilities.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of programs which reflect the emerging skills and interests of children.
• Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families and the community.
• Complying with the Uniting Early Learning policies and procedures.

• A Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as approved by Australian Childrens Education and Care Quality Authority).
• A minimum of two (2) years experience working in a kindergarten and / or other early childhood service providing high-quality care and educational services for children.
• Current First Aid in an Education & Care Setting and CPR certificates.
• A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
