Richmond SA Full-Time Immediate Start Available

RAM Equipment is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Richmond South Australia.

This is a primarily workshop-based role with occasional field service work offering variety across a broad range of heavy machinery and equipment. If youre looking for stable long-term employment consistent overtime opportunities and a supportive team environment this is an excellent opportunity. Best of all there is no FIFO so youll be home every night.

About the Role

Based in our Richmond workshop your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing maintaining and repairing heavy diesel equipment
  • Diagnosing faults across mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Attending breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
  • Assisting with the commissioning and setup of new equipment
  • Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience (preferred)
  • Maintaining a safe clean and organised work environment
  • Experience working on construction earthmoving mining or industrial equipment (highly regarded)
About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic Mobile Plant Technician or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
  • Experience working on construction earthmoving mining or industrial equipment (highly regarded)
  • A proactive reliable and self-motivated approach to work
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence (minimum C Class)
