As aDFSV Capacity Building Coordinator you will play an important role in leading the implementation of DFSV sector engagement and capacity building initiatives across Queensland to strengthen culturally responsive DFSV practice and improve safety access and outcomes for people from multicultural the RoleThe role leads SSIs DFSV capacity building initiatives in Queensland and is responsible for building strategic relationships across specialist DFSV services multicultural organisations and community and government in partnership with the national DFSV Capacity Building Lead the role provides leadership for state-wide capacity building body of work focusing on DFSV services to improve responsiveness to needs of victim-survivors from migrant and refugee position is a full-time contract until the end of June 2027 with the possibility of extension working hybrid from our Logan ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of Queensland capacity building initiatives training activities and collaborative practice support in alignment with strategic priorities and frameworks and working closely with the national DFSV Capacity Building maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with specialist DFSV services multicultural and settlement organisations peak bodies and community and government stakeholders to enhance sector capability and cultural the organisation at relevant forums advisory groups sector networks communities of practice and stakeholder meetingsProvide support to the DFSV Training and Capacity Building Officer ensuring high-quality delivery of training resources stakeholder engagement activities and sector development emerging issues service gaps sector needs and opportunities across Queensland and provide recommendations to the national DFSV Capacity Building Lead to inform strategic planning and future program and progress opportunities for collaboration between specialist DFSV services multicultural organisations and community and government stakeholders to improve service responsiveness and sector and facilitate Queensland communities of practice forums and collaborative learning opportunities that promote evidence-informed and culturally responsive responses to outcomes collect stakeholder feedback and contribute to reporting and evaluation activities to support continuous improvement of capacity building initiatives across CriteriaDegree in Social Sciences Social Work community development or related qualifications or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships across government community and non-government understanding of the Queensland DFSV multicultural and settlement leading stakeholder engagement community development training or capacity building developed communication facilitation and presentation of culturally responsive practice and working with multicultural to influence and engage diverse stakeholders to achieve shared our BenefitsSalary packaging options to receive up to $15900 of your salary tax-free meaning more take-home pay!Industry-leading flexible working arrangement supported to work from home and office including 9-day fortnight;Access to in-house training and learning opportunities for professional development and to our inhouse wellbeing programsWorking alongside professional and dedicated team members all wanting to make a difference in our our Recruitment ProcessSSI Group is strongly committed to actively safeguarding children and young people and providing a safe environment for them to thrive.
