Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre at Epworth Full Time Fixed Term (24 Months)
Join the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre at Epworth (JAECE) a leading multidisciplinary centre dedicated to advancing care research and outcomes for people living with endometriosis. As a Data Officer you will play a key role in supporting clinical research activities by managing high-quality research data maintaining study databases and contributing to innovative research projects that improve patient care.
About the role
Reporting to the Centre Program Manager you will work closely with researchers clinicians and research coordinators to support a broad range of clinical research activities. A core focus of the role is the management collection and maintenance of research data across registries databases and study management systems ensuring accuracy quality and compliance with research governance requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain clinical research databases registries and study records.
- Collect collate and enter research data accurately and within required timeframes.
- Support research studies through data management reporting and documentation activities.
- Assist with research governance audits study records and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians researchers and key internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications :
About you
You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with strong data management capabilities and a genuine interest in clinical research.
You will bring:
- Degree qualification in science data science healthcare or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in data collection data management and maintaining accurate databases and records
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a high level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of clinical research principles and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality governance and compliance
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to work across research databases registries and electronic systems
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines in a busy research environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clinicians researchers and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
- Experience in clinical research and/or health research environments
- Experience with clinical data management systems such as REDCap
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records
- Additional training or qualifications in clinical research (GCP/GDP) and/or data analytics
