Data Business Analyst

Position Description:

Recognised as one of the worlds largest IT and business consulting firms CGI has offices across Australia supporting local public and private sector clients to solve real business problems.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Business Analyst to support a large-scale healthcare data migration and EMR transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for assessing profiling mapping and validating data across multiple source systems to ensure successful migration into the new environment

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders clinical teams and technical resources to identify data dependencies improve data quality and support governance and migration activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Flexible work is available including hybrid work from home/client site in Hobart.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Play a key role in supporting a meaningful healthcare transformation and data migration program that will positively impact patients and clinical teams.
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand analyse and improve data quality across multiple systems.
Assist with data profiling mapping validation and migration readiness activities.
Identify opportunities to improve data consistency usability and governance practices.
Contribute to collaborative workshops discussions and solution planning with cross-functional teams.
Support a positive inclusive and team-focused project environment where ideas and contributions are valued.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience in data analysis business analysis data migration or related data-focused roles.
Strong attention to detail with a naturally curious and analytical mindset.
Ability to build strong relationships and communicate confidently with a variety of stakeholders.
Understanding of data quality governance and data management principles.
Experience working with complex datasets and translating information into meaningful insights.
Healthcare EMR or transformation project experience is highly regarded.
A collaborative and adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in supportive and fast-paced environments.
