CSSD Instrument Technician

This is a great opportunity for skilled and motivated Sterilising Technicians (CSSD) to join the team at Epworth Freemasons on a permanent full-time part-time or casual basis.  In this role you will play a vital part in infection prevention patient safety and quality care by ensuring reusable medical devices and equipment are processed to the highest standards through effective sterilisation and disinfection practices.

To be successful in this role

You are flexible to work across various shifts and areas as rostered are highly motivated with good problem-solving aptitude with have an ability to adapt and embrace constant changes within a working environment. You will also be able to problem solve and provide constructive feedback to peers when required.

You will have:

• Certificate III in Sterilisation Services
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a large multidisciplinary team
• Thrive in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to use computer systems efficiently and accurately
• High level of understanding and ability to apply workplace OHS requirements in sterilising services

The annual salary range for Instrument Technicians AUD $60785 to $75228 super entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part-time).
