About the role:

Join our Property Infrastructure team and play a key role in ensuring the safety compliance and operational performance of a diverse property portfolio. Reporting to the Manager Engineering Services you will coordinate essential safety measures (ESM) preventative maintenance programs and service contract delivery across multiple sites ensuring statutory compliance and high-quality service delivery.

Were looking for a proactive facilities professional with experience in commercial property and multi-site portfolios who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of contractor management compliance and preventative maintenance.

A typical week will include:

  • Coordinate and advise on procurement tendering and contract administration activities in line with organisational policies and governance requirements including contract drafting approvals evaluations extension and / or renewals
  • Support the delivery of essential safety measures (ESM) fire and statutory services including compliance reporting and AEMSR requirements.
  • Champion proactive asset management by identifying opportunities to reduce reactive maintenance and optimise building performance.
  • Lead contractor audits defect management and performance reporting ensuring issues are tracked through to completion.
  • Maintain accurate SharePoint records and build strong stakeholder relationships to support service delivery.

To be successful youll have:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or significant experience in facilities property or asset management within a commercial multi-site environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing contractors overseeing performance and delivering high-quality services within complex and dynamic environments ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Essential Safety Measures (ESM) including AS 1851 requirements and statutory compliance across property and facilities management.
  • Proven ability to plan prioritise and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarisation with Sharepoint and auditing tools such as IAuditor is advantageous.
