Permanent Full-Time 35 hours 5 days/week $135771.11 - $148770.40 Super Council lease back vehicle/vehicle allowance Moore street
JOBDESCRIPTION
Lead and managethe end-to-end delivery of Councils civil infrastructure capital worksprograms including roads drainage and floodplain assets. The role overseesproject lifecycle activities including planning design delivery andevaluation while ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget andin line with legislative and technical standards.
You will driveasset management strategies governance risk and financial controls whilebuilding strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring high-qualitysustainable infrastructure outcomes. The position also plays a key leadershiprole in team development continuous improvement and long-term infrastructureplanning.
ABOUTYOU
The successful candidate will possess thefollowing:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with eligibility for professional membership.
Relevant certifications include White Card and Class C Driver License. - Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects and programs within time budget and quality requirements across government and/or private sectors.
- Strong experience in developing infrastructure strategies budgets policies risk management and asset management plans.
- Strong knowledge and application of grants contribution plans and other reserves in a government environment.
- Proven contractor management procurement and tendering expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership experience supervising developing and coordinating technical and project teams.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards project management WHS risk management and EEO principles.
- Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex projects and engage diverse stakeholders.
