About the Role

As a Contract Administrator within our Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) team you will play a critical role in supporting contract governance compliance and administration activities across a high-profile Defence portfolio. Working closely with commercial operational and functional teams you will help ensure contractual obligations reporting requirements and governance activities are delivered accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional looking to build their career within a complex and highly regulated environment.
A Day in the Life of a Contract Administrator at Toll Group
- Maintain contract registers databases trackers and document repositories.
- Monitor contractual obligations milestones reporting requirements and review dates.
- Coordinate governance meetings agendas minutes and action registers.
- Prepare contract administration reports governance packs and dashboard inputs.
- Support contract variations approvals customer submissions and document control activities.
- Collaborate with operations finance procurement legal and commercial stakeholders to support compliant contract delivery.
Qualifications
- Certificate Diploma or Degree in Business Commerce Law Procurement Project Management or a related discipline.
- Exposure to contract administration or project coordination activities.
- Experience in Defence Government or regulated environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth contracting requirements is highly regarded.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Eligibility to obtain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance and NV1
Skills & Experience
- Up to 3 years experience in contract administration commercial administration project administration or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail with experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
