Compensation Manager
Job Summary
IMC is seeking a Compensation Manager to join our global Compensation team and play a key role in supporting the firms continued growth across the APAC region. Reporting to the Head of Compensation this individual contributor role will have regional responsibility for compensation across APAC and will lead critical initiatives spanning job architecture pay structures benchmarking and annual compensation processes. The role will sit within a global team and will be responsible for global strategic projects and processes.
As a strategic partner you will collaborate with business leaders HR and cross-functional teams to design and deliver compensation programs that are market-competitive internally equitable and aligned with IMCs global rewards philosophy and local regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead core workstreams in the annual compensation cycle (e.g. salary review bonus promotions) providing guidance and support to compensation planners across the region
- Own and maintain job architecture leveling frameworks and salary structures ensuring alignment with market data and internal equity
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners recruiters and business leaders translating compensation data into clear insights and recommendations to inform decision-making
- Build and deliver data-driven insights reporting and dashboards to identify trends risks and opportunities across the region
- Partner closely with HR Finance and HRIS (Workday) teams to enhance compensation processes tools and analytics
- Lead benchmarking analyses and survey participation to ensure competitive market positioning across multiple markets
- Drive communication and change management efforts related to compensation programs including developing guidance and training materials for HR and business stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve compensation processes tools and stakeholder experience
Monitor external market practices to be to then recommend and embed best-practice compensation methodologies governance and controls across APAC.
Skills & Experience
- 7 years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards
- Strong expertise in job evaluation job architecture and salary structure design and management
- Experience managing compensation across multiple countries with understanding of regional regulations and market practices
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience building dashboards or visualizations
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear actionable insights for business leaders
- Experience partnering with HR Finance and cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at multiple levels
- Proven ability to lead change improve processes and enhance how compensation programs are delivered and understood
- Experience with Workday Compensation and/or other compensation tools (e.g. PayFactors )
