Community Support Worker

As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in empowering our clients to live independently safely and comfortably in their own homes while maintaining their dignity and quality of life.

• Provide person-centred care and support tailored to each clients individual needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and hygiene.
• Support meal planning and preparation.
• Facilitate community participation including transportation to appointments shopping and social activities.
• Undertake domestic assistance duties such as vacuuming mopping dusting laundry and general household tasks.

• Certificate III in Individual Support Home and Community Care Aged Care Disability Support or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• A genuine passion for supporting people and improving their quality of life.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Vulnerable People Registration (or willingness to obtain).
