Your opportunity

• Managed commercial processes including contract administration risk and change control to ensure successful project delivery.

Reporting to theProject Director theCommercial Managerwill sit within the project team and be accountable for:

• Manage project insurance processes including claims administration and compliance with insurance requirements.
• Oversee head contract obligations including change management and timely submission of contractual notices.
• Implement and monitor commercial and financial risk management practices.
• Review subcontract tender documents to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers and manage claims disputes and conflict resolution.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

• Qualifications in Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Law / Business
• Significant experience operating in a large complex and contracts driven environment
• Experience in Project Financial Management or commercial construction experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present high quality concise information and to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to anticipate and resolve problems with practical and positive solutions
