About the role
We are seeking a Client Rate Specialist to join our Rates & Discounts team within Finance where you will play a key role in the implementation maintenance and governance of client and matter pricing arrangements across the firm.
Working closely with stakeholders across Finance Business Development Risk eBilling and the legal practice you will ensure client rates discounts rebates and billing requirements are accurately interpreted implemented and maintained within our systems.
Combining stakeholder engagement reporting problem-solving and process improvement this role supports the delivery of accurate efficient and commercially effective pricing outcomes across the firm.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working model with flexibility to be based in Brisbane or Sydney.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the setup maintenance and governance of client and matter pricing arrangements including panel rates discounts rebates and alternative fee arrangements.
- Review client agreements billing requirements and pricing instructions to ensure they are accurately implemented within Elite 3E and related systems.
- Act as a key point of contact for Partners Practice Assistants eBilling Business Development Risk and Finance teams on client rate and pricing matters.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with agreed pricing arrangements and assist in resolving pricing risks discrepancies and stakeholder queries.
- Prepare reporting and analysis relating to client rates discounts rebates and pricing trends to support business decision-making.
- Contribute to annual rate reviews system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives focused on pricing excellence.
About You
Youll bring:
- Experience in a legal professional services or financial services environment.
- Experience working with billing client rates pricing arrangements financial data or similar administration processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and apply complex client agreements and pricing requirements.
- A proactive and inquisitive approach with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Confidence building relationships and managing queries from a range of stakeholders including senior professionals.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with experience using Elite 3E or a similar practice management system highly regarded.
