We are seeking an exceptional Chief Engineer Transaction Intelligence Platform to define and lead the architecture of one of Westpacs most strategically important data platforms. This is a significant opportunity to operate at enterprise scale shaping how transaction data is modelled governed consumed and transformed into AI-powered customer and business outcomes.
As Chief Engineer you will own the technical vision and architectural direction of Westpacs Transaction Intelligence Platform establishing a trusted enterprise-wide foundation for transaction data that enables advanced analytics customer intelligence AI/ML solutions and future digital experiences.

Core Responsibilitiesinclude:
Define and own the technology vision architecture and engineering strategy for the platform.
Lead real-time ingestion enrichment and API-enabled data services on Google Cloud.
Establish and govern a consistent enterprise transaction data model.
Drive data quality reconciliation observability and reliability standards.
Enable AI machine learning (ML) analytics and customer-facing capabilities through trusted data products.
Provide enterprise-wide technical leadership and engineering direction.
