Chef

Based on our highly regarded multi-national local client site (MARS Petcare) you will manage a small team that work around the clock while working in a hands-on leadership role.  In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen ordering food ingredients and planning menu.

Responsibilities include

• Manage the kitchen and team 
• Preparation serving and control of cooked and uncooked food
• Training of staff and ensuring that staff follows HAACP Food Safety protocol 
• Ordering menu planning and compliance documentation
• Menu planning & costing and wage control.

This role is Monday to Friday 6.30-2.00pm salary offered is $86970 package.  

To be successful youll need: 

• Australian Citizenship or Full Australian working rights  
• Trade Certificate Certificate III in Commercial Cookery  
• A SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification
• Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word GFS Outlook)
