  • Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home 3 days a week in office)

About the opportunity

The Change and Training Lead will play a key role within our Claims System Modernisation Initiative(CSMI) which will deliver a key action in WorkSafes strategy the replacement of claims management and premium legacy technology systems with a new customer relationship management system (CRM) for the scheme.

The Change and Training Lead is responsible for leading the delivery of change management and learning strategies to support a large-scale technology transformation across WorkSafe its delivery partners and key external stakeholders.

The role leads empowers and supports a multidisciplinary team within a matrix delivery environment to ensure optimised delivery of change and training outcomes aligned to the needs of the CSMI. It ensures that people impacts are understood and effectively managed enabling end users to transition confidently to new systems and ways of working.

Working in partnership with key internal and external business leaders the role drives clear communication builds organisational capability and supports consistent adoption across the scheme contributing to sustainable outcomes and improved performance.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead the creation and execution of key change management strategies and plans including training approaches across a significant technology transformation program of work.
  • Lead empower and support a multidisciplinary team within a matrix delivery environment to ensure optimised delivery of change and training outcomes aligned to the needs of the CSMI.
  • Lead Change Impact Assessments with key internal and external stakeholders to inform strategies and planning. Document change impact assessment outcomes to determine the scale of change and associated business readiness activities including training and engagement required for successful change.
  • Develop and execute fit-for-purpose change activities and artefacts including: case for change stakeholder analysis training needs analysis communications plan business readiness assessment training plan transition plan and change effectiveness measurement for significant programs and large projects.
  • Initiate and lead engagement with sponsors and senior Business Unit leaders to identify and mitigate potential people risks for change.

About you

You will be an experienced change and training professional whose strengths include your interpersonal and relationship building skills across diverse stakeholder groups and ability to engage with lead and influence senior and executive level stakeholders and multi-disciplinary team members within a complex environment to deliver effective organisational change outcomes.

Additionally you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Significant demonstrated experience and success in leading and implementing large scale business change transformation programs.
  • Impact transformation change and training programs and projects within a complex environment delivering on organisational objectives and building employee commitment and adoption through fit-for-purpose change plans.
  • Experienced leader across change and training resources coordinating effort across streams in a complex program environment.
  • Experienced in the development and implementation of change strategies and plans that address program objectives utilising considerable industry knowledge and best practice change methodology.
  • Experience applying change models and tools in complex organisations combined with strong analytical critical thinking research and problem-solving skills.
