This isnt a business-as-usual change role. Were seeking an experienced Change & Project Manager to join one of the most significant workforce programs currently underway at UnitingCare. Working within our People & Culture team.

As a senior member of the team youll play a pivotal role in driving organisation-wide change that will directly support our people leaders and future workforce capability. Youll partner with our Senior Leadership Team across the organisation influence strategic decision-making and help shape how change is delivered in one of Queenslands largest and most respected not-for-profit organisations.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned change professional who thrives in complex environments enjoys working at pace and wants to deliver meaningful outcomes that will have a lasting impact long after the project is complete.

Please note this is a full-time fixed-term contract for 6 months. Flexibility is important to us and we know it is to you too - this role supports hybrid working by agreement.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:

  • Developing and delivering end-to-end change management strategies and plans.

  • Conducting change impact and readiness assessments to support successful implementation.

  • Partnering with executives leaders and key stakeholders to drive engagement understanding and adoption.

  • Designing communication and engagement strategies that build trust and confidence throughout the change journey.

  • Developing learning and capability initiatives that support leaders and teams through change.

  • Providing insights reporting and recommendations to program leadership to maximise project success.

What makes a difference for us

  • Formal change management certification such as Prosci ADKAR APMG or equivalent.

  • Proven experience leading change across large-scale transformation or complex organisational programs.

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders

  • Strong communication and facilitation capability with experience delivering workshops training and change interventions.

  • The ability to quickly understand complex environments build credibility and deliver outcomes. (Hiring-focused enhancement based on the contract nature of the role.)

Highly regarded

  • Experience supporting workforce payroll enterprise agreement industrial relations or compliance-related programs.

  • Experience within health community services aged care or not-for-profit organisations.

  • Qualifications in Human Resources Organisational Development Psychology Business Communications or a related discipline.
