You will support older people to remain safe independent andconnected in their own homes by delivering a range of in-home careand support services. Working across our Home Services team youwill provide person-centred support in accordance with individualcare plans helping customers maintain their wellbeingindependence and quality of life.
Your role will include personal care domestic assistance mealpreparation shopping support transport assistance and socialsupport activities. You will monitor customer wellbeing buildpositive relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues toensure customers receive safe high-quality care. Through yourcompassion professionalism and commitment to service excellenceyou will make a meaningful difference in the lives of older peoplethroughout the Moss Vale community.
The requirements What it takes to do thiswork
- Hold a Certificate Ill in Aged Care or Individual Support in Ageing
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current Drivers Licence
- Reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
- Empathy and commitment to the care of older people
- Demonstrated interpersonal and written skills
- Understanding of VVHS Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Committed to workplace equity

- Satisfactory police check (to be updated regularly)
- Previous aged/disability care experience

- Permanent Part Time position 15-20 hours per week
- We are also seeking a Casual Care Worker to provide coverage and additional support for customers in the Moss Vale area as required
- Hourly rate $34.53
- Fixed roster of Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am to 3:00pm
