Our client based in the Palm Beach area is a successful professional and technical services consultancy servicing a niche sector. Due to ongoing business requirements they are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to join the team in a permanent part-time capacity.

Working 22.8 hours per week across Tuesday to Thursday you will report directly to the Company Accountant and play an important role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

This is a varied position combining bookkeeping payroll reconciliations and general finance support within a well-established and supportive environment.

What Youll Be Doing

• Processing payroll and maintaining payroll compliance
• Managing debtor receipts and creditor payments
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Processing supplier invoices and travel expenditure
• Assisting with payroll tax and GST-related matters
• Supporting the Company Accountant with finance administration and reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

What Were Looking For

• 3 years experience in a Bookkeeper Payroll Officer or similar role
• Strong payroll experience and understanding of payroll compliance requirements
• Sound knowledge of GST and payroll tax
• Experience using MYOB Reckon or similar accounting software
• Intermediate Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Reliable professional and able to manage multiple priorities
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
