Bartender

As a Bartender youll create memorable guest experiences through exceptional beverage knowledge personalised service and genuine hospitality. Working across Bar Tilda and Wentworth Bar youll be part of a passionate team delivering premium cocktail wine and bar experiences within Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails wine beer spirits and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard.
• Deliver warm personalised service and build genuine guest connections.
• Recommend and upsell premium food and beverage offerings.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge across both venues.
• Ensure the bar is clean organised and service-ready at all times.
• Assist with stock control and inventory.
• Follow RSA requirements and hotel policies.
• Support events and work collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage team.
• Contribute to a positive professional and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications :

About You

• Previous high-volume cocktail bar or luxury hospitality experience preferred. RSA certification is essential.
• Strong product knowledge across classic cocktails spirits wine and beer with a sharp eye for presentation and consistency.
• Fast on your feet accurate under pressure and able to multitask seamlessly during peak service hours.
• Welcoming engaging and capable of reading the room to create memorable experiences for every guest.
• Committed to keeping a clean organized and fully stocked bar set-up at all times.
• Works closely with floor staff and kitchen teams to maintain exceptional service flow.
• Available to work late nights weekends and public holidays as required by the roster.
