Job Summary
Role: AWS Architect
Location: Sydney NSW Australia
Experience: 13 yrs
Must Have Experience:
- Design and deploy scalable highly available and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust cloud architectures
- Lead cloud strategy migration and modernization initiatives
- Select appropriate AWS services (compute storage database networking security)
- Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework (security reliability performance cost)
- Define architecture standards guidelines and reusable patterns
- Conduct architecture reviews (HLD/LLD) and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models into applications
- Ensure data security governance and ethical AI usage
- Strong understanding of microservices distributed systems and API integration
- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD containerization Kubernetes preferred)
- Knowledge of monitoring logging and automation tools
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2 S3 RDS Lambda API Gateway VPC CloudFormation
Good to Have experience:
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in cloud migration and modernization
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Architect solutions leveraging AI/ML services (Amazon SageMaker Bedrock Comprehend etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Design GenAI-based use cases such as:
- RAG-based solutions
- AI agents / automation workflows
- NLP / document intelligence solutions
