Associate Lecturer (Level A) Nursing

As an Associate Lecturer (Level A) in Nursing you will support the delivery of high quality nursing education while contributing to teaching scholarship and student success within a collaborative academic environment.

In this role you will:

• Deliver engaging learning experiences across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
• Facilitate contemporary teaching and assessment practices that support student achievement.
• Continuously enhance teaching effectiveness through professional development and reflective practice.
• Contribute to research scholarship and professional activities within the nursing discipline.
• Engage with industry and community partners to support student learning and employability outcomes.

This is a continuing full time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level A range $82704 - $111219 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $96764 - $130126 per annum.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will

• Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra.
• Possess a Bachelor of Nursing and a postgraduate qualification in nursing (Graduate Certificate or higher) or bring significant relevant clinical and professional experience.
• Demonstrate strong contemporary nursing knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across academic clinical and professional environments.
• Be committed to ongoing professional development with completion of or current enrolment in a masters degree viewed favourably.
