Pay: $46.76 - $47.78 per hour (based on experience)

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Merrylands youll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role you will:

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Directors absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Located on Darug Country within walking distance of Hilltop Road shops local schools and public transport our welcoming early learning centre offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional ready to step into a leadership role. Catering for children aged 15 months to 5 years the service provides a warm home-like environment where strong relationships and quality education are at the heart of everything we do.

Were looking for a confident leader with experience supporting children with diverse behaviours and coaching educators to implement consistent positive behaviour guidance strategies. Your ability to build respectful relationships with children families and colleagues will be key to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
