Our client is an established engineering construction and operations business delivering transport building water and other infrastructure works across Australia. Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Opportunity
Support subcontract procurement and commercial administration on a regional rail construction project. This permanent full-time role works on a two-weeks-on one-week-off site roster requiring drive-in/drive-out availability or relocation within an hour of the project area.
Your Work
Prepare tender scopes and quotation packages and support subcontract negotiations and award processes.
Maintain procurement schedules subcontract registers and commercial systems.
Assess progress claims costs variations and contractual risks with the commercial and delivery teams.
Prepare correspondence monitor compliance and support accurate reporting and accounts-payable administration.
Assist with commitment approvals subcontract close-out and general business administration.
Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
Bachelor qualification in construction management engineering quantity surveying law commerce accounting or equivalent.
At least 12 months of relevant commercial administration experience in construction or engineering.
Exposure to subcontract negotiations document control and applicable contractual requirements.
Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Office and Excel; familiarity with contract-management systems.
Availability for DIDO or relocation within an hour of the Cootamundra/Stockinbingal area and a 2:1 roster.
