Apprentice Service Technician

Qualification: UEE32120 Certificate III in Appliance Service

F. L. Costello & Co. Pty Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician to join their team in Osborne Park.

The business sells services and repairs commercial laundry equipment under the Speed Queen brand. This is a varied hands on role that will involve working both in the warehouse and at customer sites with different tasks and responsibilities each day.

As an Apprentice Service Technician you will work alongside experienced Service Technicians while completing a UEE32120 Certificate III in Appliance Service.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting Service Technicians with large machine installations
• Loading machines using a forklift
• Maintaining a neat and tidy warehouse
• Picking and packing parts
• Finishing off repairs to machines
• Travelling to laundromats to carry out basic fixes on machines

The ideal candidate will be:

• Mechanically minded
• Someone who enjoys fixing things
• Fit and comfortable with an active role
• Interested in a varied hands on working environment

This is a full time apprenticeship working Monday to Friday from 7:15am to 3:45pm.

The position is based in Osborne Park WA with duties also carried out at customer sites and laundromats.
