Are you a current 3rd year Apprentice Fitter Machinist looking to continue your trade with a hands-on Australian engineering business NEPEAN Engineering is seeking motivated apprentice tradespeople to join our Prestons NSW facility and continue developing their skills in fitting machining and precision engineering.

About the opportunity
This opportunity is suited to apprentices who have successfully completed the early stages of a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade and are ready to continue their apprenticeship in a practical workshop-based environment. Youll continue building capability across fitting machining assembly measuring and general engineering practices while contributing to real project work.
Youll gain further exposure to CNC machining manual lathes milling machines grinders hand and power tools component assembly maintenance support and workshop processes while continuing to develop safe accurate and efficient work habits.
What youll continue developing
- Reading and interpreting drawings technical specifications and job requirements.
- Operating machine tools including lathes milling machines grinders and CNC equipment.
- Measuring marking out shaping and finishing metal components to required tolerances.
- Fitting assembly and maintenance practices used across engineering and manufacturing projects.
- Safe use of hand tools power tools and workshop equipment.
