AEMOs System Design division is at the centre of one of Australias most significant energy transformations helping shape and enable the power system of the future. Within System Design the Onboarding and Connections Group plays a critical role in bringing new generatorsstorageand load projects into the National Electricity team combines high-quality data practical analytics fit-for-purpose systems and clear reporting tomeet regulatory obligationsprovidetrustedinformationonconnectionswhich helps guidetheenergy transition anddrive continuous improvement across the connections process.

About the role

As anAnalyst Data and Reportingyoullplayan important rolein delivering high-quality reportinganalysisand insights to support business and operational decision-making.

Working with a variety of stakeholdersyoullhelpidentifyopportunities improvedatamanagement andreportingprocessesand ensure data is presented in a clearmeaningfuland actionable way. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical skills while contributing to work with real-world impact.

This role can be based inany Australian capital city.

What you will be doing

  • Developmaintainand enhance reportsdashboardsand data visualisations.
  • Analyse data toidentifytrendsinsightsand opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understanddatareportingand business requirements.
  • Ensure data qualityaccuracyand consistency across reporting outputs.
  • Translate data into clear and meaningful insights for a range of audiences.
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting processestoolsand frameworks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver data-driven outcomes.

What you will bring to the role

  • Tertiary qualifications inEngineering MathematicsData Analytics Business Analytics Information Systems StatisticsCommerceor a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in data analysisworking with large datasets
  • Proficiencyin SQLand/or Python
  • Datavisualisationcapability reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI Tableau or similar.
  • Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive approachcuriosityand a willingness to learn and grow.
