We are looking for an exceptional AI Engineering Manager to help build and scale the engineering practices capabilities and ways of working that will power the next generation of AI-enabled products and services across the bank.
This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who is equally passionate about engineering excellence team development and AI innovation.
You will lead and grow a team of AI Engineers while partnering with senior AI and engineering leaders to create reusable capabilities agentic engineering workflows and AI-first delivery practices at enterprise scale.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop a team of highly talented AI Engineers.
- Partner with the Chief Engineer and senior technical leaders to shape AI engineering strategy and execution.
- Build reusable agentic workflows engineering patterns templates guardrails and golden paths.
- Drive adoption of AI-first software development lifecycle practices.
- Uplift engineering capability across AI software engineering data DevSecOps testing observability and operational excellence.
- Create scalable engineering standards practices and operating rhythms.
- Foster a high-performing inclusive and psychologically safe team culture.
- Contribute technically where needed while enabling the broader team to deliver safely at scale.
Key Ingredients for Success
- Deep expertise in modern software engineering and enterprise technology delivery.
- Strong experience leading engineers in large-scale complex environments.
- Proven capability building and scaling engineering practices standards and delivery frameworks.
- Experience with AI GenAI agentic systems cloud platforms DevSecOps and modern engineering tooling.
- A passion for coaching mentoring and developing technical talent.
- The ability to balance strategic leadership with practical execution.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across diverse technical communities.
