Job Summary

Looking for a role that fits around school hours while still offering variety responsibility and future career opportunities

MCA Engineering is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our friendly Finance team in Thornton. This is a permanent part-time position (3 days per week) with flexible hours available and genuine opportunity to increase to full-time as our business continues togrow.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing Accounts Receivable including invoicing statements reconciliations and collections
  • Tracking project costs job costings submissions and variation registers
  • Processing financial transactions using Xero and SimPRO (Experience with SimPRO is highly regarded however training will be provided to the right candidate)
  • Monitoring client purchase orders and project billing
  • Supporting project managers with financial information
  • Assisting the Finance team with general administration

Youll be successful if you have:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience with job costing project administration or SimPRO will be highly regarded.
