The position
This position reports to the Accounts Payable Team Lead at our modern Perth Head Office. This position supports end-to-end invoice processing supplier master data maintenance and management of internal and external queries via MyService and AP Connect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice management via Converga our paperless accounts payable system
- Resolution of internal and external queries via MyService and AP Connect
- Supplier Maintenance inclusive of new supplier setup existing maintenance rebate creations term creations and cost centre management
- Reconciliations of key Suppliers
- Processing of manual one-off supplier payments and employee expenses
- Support Team Lead in managing business expense systems including SAP Concur and auditing of business expenses through Appzen
- Providing data and input into management reports for accounts payable and business expenses
- Update and develop documentation of AP processes and procedures
- Cross skilling and upskilling in Accounts Payable activities end-to-end
- People & Culture
- Develop good relationships with fellow team members to foster a culture of financial and operational excellence
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders build relationships whilst analysing and challenging
- Support the business in ensuring that the needs of the stakeholders are met
- Operate in accordance with Compass values and actively support and participate in Compass culture
About you
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Attention to detail accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines
- Preference for experience in Converga and SAP Concur
- Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office Suite (excel)
- Demonstrated customer service approach
- Proactive hardworking attitude and a high level of accountability
- Ability to apply lateral thinking when faced with issues or problems
- Strong teamwork and an emphasis on striving for continuous improvements
