Australias clean energy transformation is accelerating and grid connection engineers are leading the charge. As demand for renewable energy surges so does the need for talented engineers who can connect new technologies to the grid safely reliably and efficiently.

Weve created afirst-of-its-kind industry-wide graduate programdesigned to fast-track your career and immerse you in the most exciting challenges in energy. Over two years youll rotate throughfour organisations - an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) a National Service Provider (NSP) a Developer and AEMO - gaining experience across the full spectrum of grid connection engineering.
Each rotation offers different on-the-job learning experiences and you will also benefit from a central training program. Over the two-year program we expect that you will:
- Collaborate with senior engineers on power system modelling and simulation
- Analyse system performance and conduct incident reviews to identify risks and trends
- Develop and maintain software tools to automate technical studies
- Create technical reports and documentation that inform real-world decisions
- Contribute to cutting-edge projects shaping Australias energy future
- Build relationships with industry experts and stakeholders across the sector
Were seeking curious driven graduates with:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering (graduating before February 2027)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- A passion for learning and applying grid connection technologies
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program
