Static Rotating Equipment Inspectors

• Execute the specific inspections on materials equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
• Issue the relevant Quality Records and when necessary write and send to QC Supervisor nonconformances reports.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan obtain the relevant documentation check procedures and equipment to be used in tests controls and inspections manage documents certifying tests controls and inspections.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers qualifications.
• Check power transformers switchboard accumulator battery sockets outlet lighting system Remote terminal unit instruments cables tunings etc.
• Perform visual inspections dimensional test check rating and material for connection.
• Execute Inspection interpret results and prepare daily report.

Qualifications :

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma of Associate Engineering
• CSWIP or AWS Certificate is Mandatory
• Training Experience and Certification in the relevant discipline for which they are qualified to work.
• Familiar with applicable engineering standards and codes that will be used during QC surveillance activities in onshore and offshore fabrication projects.
• Minimum 4 years experience in overall mechanical inspection

Technical Knowledge / Skills:

• Ability to coordinate with client for the preparations and inspection as per agreed scope of work or inspection plan.
• Ability to make judgments on the inspection findings.
• Good communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Possess and apply riskbased thinking and work in compliance with SGS Safety rules and obligations.
