Job Description Summary
Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute the purchase order to supplier payment process for defined commodities aligning with organization safety quality delivery and cost measures.
- Lead the reporting and control for one or more of the sourcing team KPIs.
- Engage with internal customers for fulfilment challenges resolution.
- Develop and execute an improvement plan for the assigned commodities through daily management supplier qualification and negotiation.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Maintain relationship with suppliers to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain up-to-date data in ERP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
- Basic experience in sourcing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Desired Characteristics
- Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
- Process improvement mindset.
- Microsoft office Excel experience.
