Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering design within the building services sector with previous experience on entertainment projects. The candidate will be ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution lighting fire alarm and other specialized electrical installations for different types of buildings previous experience in different types of projects; offices residential commercial .

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.

• Specify materials and components including cables transformers panels and switchgear.

• Collaborate with architects mechanical engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the building design.

• Conduct site assessments to understand project requirements and constraints.

• Work closely with contractors and other teams during construction and installation to ensure designs are properly implemented.

• Assist with project planning budgeting and scheduling.

• Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases.

• Perform electrical load calculations and energy analysis to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Ensure all designs meet local codes standards (BS IEC IET NEC NFPA CIBSE IESNA ) and client specifications.

• Familiar with the local country codes of middle east and gulf countries.

• Conduct regular design reviews and ensure designs comply with environmental and safety regulations.

• Stay updated on industry trends technologies and regulatory changes to ensure designs remain cutting-edge and compliant.

• Resolve any electrical design-related issues that arise during construction or operation.

• Offer solutions to challenges in electrical system integration functionality or cost efficiency.

• Proficiency in the following software list: Dialux Relux and Dialux Evo. ETAP. ProDesign. Generator sizing software. Lightning protection calculation software. (IEC ) MS office

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering specifically within the building services sector.

• Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit Dialux or similar tools).

• Familiarity with building regulations safety standards and electrical codes (NEC BS7671 etc.).

• Previous experience with entertainment projects is essential.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution lighting fire alarms emergency systems and renewable energy integration.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

• Professional accreditation or membership (e.g. IET CIBSE or equivalent) is a plus.

• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) for electrical design.

• Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable electrical systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
