Retail Operations Director

Foreground is partnering with a leading regional apparel retailer to appoint a Retail Operations Director who will oversee end-to-end store performance operational excellence and customer experience across the GCC. This executive role requires a proven leader who can manage large-scale retail operations introduce efficiency frameworks and drive sustainable profitability while adapting to market trends and consumer behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational performance of retail stores across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.
• Establish and implement operating standards ensuring consistent execution across all branches.
• Monitor KPIs including sales per square foot inventory turnover and staff productivity.
• Collaborate with merchandising supply chain and marketing teams to optimize in-store experiences.
• Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty programs.
• Ensure compliance with legal health and safety standards across all outlets.
• Lead store expansion and refurbishment programs aligned with brand strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Retail Management or related field; MBA preferred.
• 12 years of progressive retail operations experience with at least 5 in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in managing multi-country apparel operations.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
