QUALITY ENGINEER - ICT, DATA CENTRE, CONSTRUCTION

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support quality assurance and control activities across high-profile construction and ICT infrastructure projects including data centers in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with project specifications industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing and maintaining the project Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
Perform site inspections material verifications and quality checks on construction and ICT-related works.
Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier certification TIA-942 ISO 27001 and client-specific ICT/data center standards.
Review method statements inspection & test plans (ITPs) and quality documentation for construction and MEP/ICT works.
Monitor the proper execution of installation testing and commissioning activities for structured cabling ELV systems and data center infrastructure.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and participate in root cause analysis and follow-up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with site engineers subcontractors and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues.
Maintain and update QA/QC records checklists and logs in line with audit requirements.
Support the Quality Manager during audits inspections and reporting activities.
Participate in toolbox talks and ensure quality awareness across site teams.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil Electrical Mechanical or related discipline).
Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects with at least 2 years in ICT/data center environments.
Certification in ISO 9001:2015 QMS; ISO 27001 or other quality-related certifications are a plus.
Good understanding of MEP ICT and ELV systems in large-scale projects.
Knowledge of Uptime Tier Standards BICSI or TIA standards is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in QA/QC inspection procedures documentation and construction quality standards.
Familiar with construction drawings specifications and inspection protocols.
Computer literate in MS Office AutoCAD and QA tools (e.g. Aconex Procore SnagR).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an asset.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience:
Involvement in data center ICT infrastructure or mega construction projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
Experience working under EPC contracts or for international contractors/consultants.
