We are seeking a Planning and Scheduling Manager to take ownership of the master construction programme for the Terminal 6 Substructure Works package at King Salman International Airport (KSIA) Riyadh. This is a fast-track civil works contract encompassing mass earthworks below-slab drainage extensive reinforced concrete substructure works and precast concrete elements all of which must be sequenced carefully against designated no-build zones and the mobilization schedules of adjoining contractors on this large multi-package aviation development. You will be responsible for developing baselining and continuously maintaining a detailed construction programme tracking progress against baseline identifying emerging delays or critical path risks and recommending recovery strategies before they materially affect delivery. The role also involves preparing progress reports S-curves and rolling look-ahead schedules for both internal management and client reporting as well as supporting the preparation of robust programme evidence for extension of time and claims submissions where required. Close coordination with the Construction Cost and Contracts teams is essential to ensure the programme remains aligned with resourcing levels and the projects commercial position at all times. Given the scale and visibility of KSIA we are seeking a planning professional who is comfortable operating in a high-scrutiny environment confident presenting programme status to senior stakeholders and skilled at translating complex interdependent work sequences into clear actionable schedules for the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop baseline and maintain the detailed programme for earthworks substructure and waterproofing
Monitor progress identify critical path risks and recommend recovery measures
Prepare progress reports S-curves and look-ahead schedules for internal and client reporting
Support claims/EOT preparation with robust programme evidence
Coordinate sequencing with adjacent packages and no-build zone constraints
Liaise with Construction Cost and Contracts teams on programme alignment
Requirements
Minimum 15 years experience in planning/scheduling on major construction projects
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (or equivalent)
Experience with large multi-package fast-track programmes; airport/aviation experience an advantage
