Responsibilities
- Perform rigging lifting scaffolding erection modification and dismantling activities.
- Assist with marine deck operations loading/unloading and material handling.
- Inspect lifting gears scaffolding components slings shackles and tools before use.
- Ensure scaffolds are properly erected secured tagged and safe for access.
- Follow lifting plans PTW toolbox talks and HSE procedures.
- Coordinate with crane operators banksmen scaffold supervisors and deck crew.
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of Rigger/Scaffolder experience in marine projects.
- Experience on vessels barges shipyards ports or marine facilities.
- Good knowledge of rigging practices and safe scaffolding erection/dismantling.
- Familiar with lifting equipment hand signals and scaffold safety requirements.
- Valid Rigger / Scaffolder / Banksman certification preferred.
- Physically fit and able to work in marine conditions.
Required Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift carry and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials tools and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments outdoors or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
