Painting & Coating Inspector

Talent Diamond is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an urgent requirement for a Painting & Coating Inspector to support Offshore & Onshore projects in Qatar.

We are looking for qualified candidates who are currently based in Qatar and available to join immediately.

• Perform inspection of coating and painting activities according to project specifications and international standards

• Verify proper surface preparation prior to coating application

• Conduct Wet Film Thickness (WFT) and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements

• Perform adhesion testing and holiday testing

• Monitor coating application processes and ensure compliance with quality requirements

• Coordinate with clients contractors and third-party inspectors during inspection activities

• Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation

• Certification: NACE Level II or BGAS-CSWIP Grade II (or equivalent)

• Proven experience in coating inspection application methods and testing

• Strong knowledge of surface preparation standards WFT DFT adhesion testing and holiday testing

• Experience in insulation and fireproofing inspection is preferred

• OPITO BOSIET and H2S training certificates are required

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Candidates must currently be located in Qatar

• Location: Qatar (Offshore & Onshore projects)

• Availability: Immediate joiners preferred
