Offshore pedestal crane operator

Operate pedestal cranes to load/unload materials equipment and supplies on offshore platforms and vessels.

Follow offshore lifting procedures conduct preoperation checks and ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Perform routine inspections report defects and assist in preventive maintenance of crane systems.

Secure loads properly calculate weight limits and ensure balanced lifting operations.

Work closely with riggers signalers and deck supervisors to execute lifting operations safely.

Act promptly in case of mechanical issues or unsafe conditions.

Maintain crane operation logs inspection records and lifting permits.

High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).

Technical training in crane operation or mechanical systems (preferred).

Valid offshore crane operator license/certification (as per OPITO/IMCA or local authority).

Minimum 57 years offshore crane operation experience.

OPITO Offshore Crane Operator certification.

HSE training (Work at Height Rigging & Slinging Fire Safety).

Offshore survival training (BOSIET / HUET).
