We are looking for an experienced Incident Response Oversight Expert to provide strategic leadership and oversight of incident response operations. The role will be responsible for leading incident response teams ensuring the quality of incident analysis supporting national-level response planning and coordinating workshops simulations and emergency response drills.

• Lead and oversee incident response teams during major and complex cybersecurity incidents.
• Provide quality assurance and technical oversight of incident response analysts and their investigations.
• Develop and support national-level incident response plans procedures and strategies.
• Lead cybersecurity workshops tabletop exercises simulations and incident response drills.
• Establish and maintain effective incident response processes aligned with recognized cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert guidance during major cybersecurity incidents and ensure appropriate escalation and response.
• Review incident reports investigation findings and response actions to ensure accuracy quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams stakeholders and relevant authorities during significant incidents.
• Manage incident-response-related projects and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
• Ensure incident response capabilities are continuously improved based on lessons learned from incidents exercises and assessments.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats incident response methodologies frameworks and applicable regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Information Security Computer Science IT or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity incident response or cyber defence.
• Proven experience leading major/complex cybersecurity incidents and incident response teams.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting or leading cybersecurity workshops tabletop exercises and emergency response drills.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks incident response methodologies and relevant regulations.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent leadership communication analytical and decision-making skills.

Candidates must hold at least two relevant certifications from the approved list such as:

• CISSP
• GCTI
• GX-CS
• GX-IH
• GISP
• GSLC
• GSTRT
• GSNA
• CISM
• ISO 27035 Lead Incident Manager

Mandatory:

• 12 years of relevant experience
• Proven leadership of major cybersecurity incidents
• Minimum 2 approved professional certifications
• Experience leading incident response teams
• Experience with workshops/drills and response planning

Candidates with less than 12 years of experience or without demonstrable major incident leadership experience will not be considered.
