Crane Operator

Responsibilities:

• Adherence to quality health & safety information security and business continuity policies.
• Operate shore cranes ship cranes mobile cranes and other authorized lifting equipment in accordance with
approved operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Achieve targeted discharge volumes and productivity levels per crane working hour and ship working hour.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and safety checks to verify that equipment is in safe working condition
prior to operation.
• Monitor equipment performance during operations and immediately report defects malfunctions delays or
abnormal conditions to the Crane Foreman.
• Coordinate with Stevedoring personnel and operational teams to ensure the smooth execution of cargo
discharge and cargo handling activities.
• Ensure safe handling of dry bulk materials and other cargoes while preventing product loss damage or
operational disruption.
• Adhere to approved lifting plans operational procedures and safe working practices at all times.
• Maintain operational awareness of vessel discharge progress cargo flow and work instructions throughout the
shift.
• Keep equipment operating areas clean safe and free from hazards.
• Participate in emergency response activities and comply with contingency and business continuity procedures
when required.
• Complete operational checklists inspection records and other documentation accurately and in a timely
manner.

Qualification:

• Certified and licensed Crane Operator.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in port operations terminal operations stevedoring activities or dry
bulk cargo handling is preferred.
• Experience operating shore cranes ship cranes mobile cranes or similar heavy lifting equipment is preferred.
• Good command of English Hindi and Urdu would be an advantage.
